Kempson of London. I have, however, been unable to
obtain it, although I endeavoured to do so.

6. Concerning this medal, which I also vainly attempted
to acquire, of9 a visit to Bath » during the next year
after Charlotte’s marriage, whether it was with her
consort the prince or alone. I have failed to ascertain,
having merely Mr. Weight’s brief mention (4). As it was
in 1817 that she visited the watering place, it could not
have been during the bridal journey. Married in May,
1816, and confined in November, 1817, she became
of my father,, should be known among numismatists by the name o f my
native city.

pregnant, assuming that the labor was at the full term,'
during the preceding March. The journey is very likely,
therefore, to have been a little later than this, during
the early portion of her gestation, when suffering from
the nausea that so often accompanies that period, and as
frequently yields to a short course at a mineral spring.
As to this, however, I am not certain.
