prefque tétragènes. Les feuilles font oppofees,
ovales, crénelées, de la forme tic prefque de la
grandeur de celles de la Bourrache ordinaire ,
luifantes. & chargées de poils courts & blanchâtres
en leur furface fupérieure , vertes, glabres &
nerveufes en delfous. Elles font foutenues par des
pétioles longs d’un pouce. Les fleurs font grandes ,
rougeâtres, tic viennent plufieurs enfemble dans
chaque aiftelle des feuilles , portées fur des pédoncules
courts 8 c rameux. Les fruits font des baies
ovales , de la grandeur d’une olive , tic d’un verd
brun. On trouve cette plante à la Martinique,
