0. Eademfoli's brevioribus fubquinquelobis:
Sa tige eft ligneufo, divifée en plufieurs rameaux
droits , cylindriques & grifeâtres , & s’élève à la
hauteur de deux à trois pieds; Ses feuilles font
éparfes , ohlongues, rétrécies en manière de coin
vers leur bafo , terminées par trois lobes courts &
pointus , glabres 8c d’un verd glauque. Elles ont
à peine un pouce de longueur. Les fleurs font
jaunes , ont leur calice ovale-arrondi, liffe & embriqué
, 8c font difpofées en corymbe fimple au
fommet des rameaux. Leurs fleurons font nombreux.
La plante B a fos feuilles plus courtes, plus
rapprochées les unes des autres , d’un verd glauque
, cunéiformes, & la plupart à cinq lobes à
leur fommet. Les corymbes font moins garnis -, les
pédoncules font plus courts & un peu pubefeens.
On trouve cette efpece en Ethiopie & au Cap

Cette plante paroît avoir des rapports avec
VAthanafe crénelée n°. a , dont nous avons fait
mention d’après M. Linné j mais comme elle a fos
fleurs difpofées en corymbe , & non folitaires au
fommet des rameaux , nous la croyons différent e
Ses feuilles font longues , linéaires , filiformes ,
glabres, canaliculées en leur face intérieure, élargies
au point de leur infertion , 8c munies dans
toute leur longueur d’un angle tranchant fur leur
dos , qui fo prolonge un peu fur la tige, & la rend
prelqu’anguleufo. Ces feuilles font nombreufos ,
éparfes , droites, rapprochées les unes des autres ;
les inférieures font longues de trois pouces &
demi. Les fleurs font affez groffes , & difpofées
fix ou fopt enfemble en corymbe fimple & terminal.
Leur calice eft ovale, liffe, & remarquable
par fos écailles incifées ou découpées en leurs
bords. Cette plante qroît au Cap de Bonne-Efpérance
, & nous a été communiquée par M. Son-

redreffées, affez fomblâbles à celles du Lin , 8c
longues de fix ou fopt lignes. Les fleurs font difpofées
en corymbe fimple & terminal -, leur calice
eft ovale-arrondj , liffe, & 'enveloppe beaucoup
