imported froin FraajQe, the ^pcfety thought it an^pbjecft worthy of tfafe no-
tice; accordingly, they^ offered feVeral coofiderable Premiums for the blft
Engliflv Paper fit, for Copper-plate Printers, and'neared in Quality to that
which is imported from Xj$pce ; in. cOnfequence of which Premiums, feveral
fpecimens were produced,; and approved of by the Committee of Manufacture^
who were of Opinion th|t the Candidate, Mr. Thomas Cooke, of
Tottenliam, was entitled t.Q. the Premium of XWenty-five pounds, for Paper
