bore N. 47° W. and N.‘73° W. ten or,twelve leagues.
Moderate winds and pleafant weather.
We faw land from N. 25° W. to S. 78° W .; and at
23 h. 20 m. the north extreme of it bore N. 75°W.

By the noon obfervations we have been fet N. 59° E.
