with mealy atoms, tan-ooloured when moist. Stem scarcely 1 in. long, filiform,

Spores ochraceo-ferruginous ; veil often wanting, when present
fibrons and fugacious; pileus more or less campanulate,
margin straight, at first adpressed to tbe stem ; stem cartilaginous,

bymenopbore ; gills adnate, or with a deourrent tooth (exactly
as in Mycena).
