At first resembling a Cytispora, witb 1-2 black included ostiola, but when
perfect bearing many minute exserted, now and then slightly prominent ostiola.
I t differs from V. nivea in tbe nature of the disc, the obliterated stroma,
and the more adnate conceptaculum.—FVies.
