On wych elm twigs. Nov.—Feb. Batheaston.
Plant 2 lines high ; head oblong-ovate, granulated from the perithecia,
which are sunk in its substance, ra th e r longer than the pallid, cyhndnoal
stem, which is slightly swollen at the base. Fruit unknown. Grows on a
solerotioid substance.—B . & Br.
