Description. O I Z E of a Linnet: length four inches. Bill ftout, thick,
whjte: head, neck, breaft, leffer wing coverts, and tail,
black : fecondaries, tides of the body, and bafe half of the prime
quills, ftriated black and white ; the end half of the laft black :
belly and vent white: tail three quarters of an inch in length .
