parts, and the lower belly, dark yellow, like wax : the fore
parts, to the breaft black : the belly fpotted with black: quills,
and tail, dufky, edged with fea-green : legs afh-colour.
P lace. Inhabits Brajil.
Buffon * thinks it more like a Finch. Perhaps it may be allied
to the Yellow Finch of Bancroft -f-, which he fays has a bill
like the Blue Finch j the body of a lively yellow j but the quills,
and tail, variegated with green.

quills variegated with blue, black, and green : tail brown, tipped
with pale rufous, inclining to grey.
