yellow, and a ftripe of the fame on the wings: tail, and the
quills, a little forked : legs cinereous.
The female has the crown grey brown : cheeks, and throaty
pale yellow.
Thefe birds are found in the woods about Buenos Ayres, and in
the Straits of Magellan. It is fatd to ling better than any other
bird o f South America.
The above are thought by Buffort to be varieties of our
Sijkin.
