and readily multiplied by seeds, which it perfects freely in
the open border. When grown in a patch, as was the case
in the Bristol Nursery, it is not without attractions, and it
forms a pleasing variety amongst other hardy annuals.
The generic name alludes to the bladdery fruit, and is
