Arbrifleati d'environ quatre à cinq pieds, qui
peut avoir, par fes râfneaüx trigones, quelque
rapport avec lè genifla triquett’a , mais qui s'en dif-
ringue aifément, dit M . Ventenat , par fes tiges
droites & plusiélevées-y'par fes rameaux glabres,
à:angles moins faillans, remarquable lurtout par
fes épis filiformes, ttès-alongés, garnis de fleurs
petites, peu rapprochées, droites, pédicellées,
d’un jaune-doré, munies de très^petites braêtées
linéaires, pubefcentes, très-caduques. Le.s feuilles
font alternéstrë's-difiâmes^ prefque féffrles, com-
pbfeës de trois folioles pédicellées lancéolées ,
aiguës, glabres, a peine pubéfcentes en deffôus3
les Supérieures beaucoup plus courtes & plus étroites,
le calice fort petit, glabre, d’ un vert-jaunâtre

Arbriffeau dê deux ou trois pieds, chargé de
rameaux droits, grêles, très-nombreux, glabres,
ftriés, fans feuilles dans leur vieirjefle3 pourvus,
dans leur jeunefie, de feuilles fimples , folitaîres,
quelquefois ternées, éparfes y fertiles, petites,
lancéolées y velues, à peine aiguës 3 içs fleuri
droites, prefque feflilesy agglomérées, au nombre
de deux ou trois dans les aiffelles des feuilles >
nombreufes, difpofées en épis terminaux, alon-
gés j leur calice velu, çatnpanulé f à deux lèvres;
les découpures ovales ; la lèvre inférieure un peu
plus longue y.tridentée 3- la corolle jaune, de la
grandeur de celle du genêt pileux, couverte de
poils foyeux. Le fruit n'a pas été obfervé.
