The specimen from which our drawing was made, was
kindly sent to us in May last, by Messrs. Brown, from
their Nurstjry at Slough, where it was raised from seed, it
is of hybrid origin, and has been produced by one of the
strong growing sorts with one of the red ones j being of
strong growth, and an abundant bloomer, will make it a
very desirable plant, particularly as long as the red sorts
continue to be most esteemed; it thrives well in any rich
light soil; and cuttings, planted in pots, and placed in a
shady situation, will soon strike root.
