U T umbra nihil eft, cariflimi, ncc per fc
fubfiftit, feci interpofito interjedoque
~ corpore opaco paritur, & confèrvaturj fic
mali natura per fe nihil eft, fed ab oppofito
fibi bono exiftit & conftat. Conjugium utro-
bique unum ipfum eft, honeftum quidem &
immaculatum ,ficx lege fiat, nefarium idem
ac turpe , fi legi adverïatur. Quàm opido ju-
ftum eft laudare eum, qui caritatem nobis
inftituit morum magiftram, cujus ope pluri-
ma non ignoraremus ! Perinde cibus im-
menfum luxum , tenmlentiam potus , indu-
C xerunt ; data fibi quifque naturæ bona_.,
ipsâ répugnante , fuum idem in malum-»
convertit. Non eft ergo quod doleas , rerum
naturas malas efte, conftat enim elfe
optimas , fed res per fe bonas malas facit

Et verb fi hanc, qualis à Deo conftituta

in ea occurrit, quod fummè decorum ac pul-
chrum non fit j verumtamen fi inde oculos ad
mores convertas, miraberis utiqué voluntatis

OU A M benè imitantur malos impii Fi-
dei contemtores ! Nequam & improbi
quidam monecalem typum , unde unde
nadti, nuinmos cudunt adulterinos ; qui fi ad
man us aurificis venerint, laudat ifte typem
& efïigiem regis, fed & accufat artificis fraudulent!
nequitiam ; ncc enim callidus vete-
rator potuit exaâè archetypum imicari,. &
diferiminantes notas penitus dîfïimulare 8c ^
auferre . Id enimvero authoribus Sedarum
contigit , redam illi quidem depravarunt
viam, terminos tarnen à Rege pofitos immu-
tare aut revellere neqüiverunt,his porrô ftan-
tibus, conftat pariter via : quilibet enim in
tam recenti præfcrtim memoria ftatim fraudem
animadvertet, modo mentis fit compos
fuæ , nec enim dodus ignorât, quid illi fint,
quo authore, quove conidio hoc in loco fîxi q
fuerint . Qiiifquis itaque terminos à reda ad
obliquos flexus transferre aufus fuit, ex du-
plici capite arguendus eft , & quo viam ce-
culere fe poffe credidit, & quo ejus terminos
refigerc rentavit. Tuam, Domine, admi-
ramur veritatem , quam abfcondere nemini
hadenus licuit.
Perge porro : confideremus vfam, quam
inter falebray1 perverfi homines moliti funt;
in ilia quippe veri Regis noftri terminos vide-
re eft conftitutos, & fuo ordine difpofitos;
îbi audire eft nomina Patris, & Filii, & Spiritus
