Cette plante fe diftingue par fa croûte mince
prefque cartilagineufe, inégale, déchirée,fen dillée,
un peu ridée, d'un blanc-cendré5 fes fcu te lle s
fort petites, point fa'.liantes, très-entières, p{anes,
noirâtres, entourées d'un rebord mince, très-
blanc , qui devient brun , ainfi que les f c u t e lle s .
Cette plante a été découverte en France par
M. Dufour, fur l'écorçe des ormes.
