Cam arophyllus, fi'oui Kapapaos = anything with an arched cover,
and (pvXXov = a leaf. Alluding to the shape of tlie gills.
Veil none, stem even, smooth or fibrillose, not rough with
points. Pileus firm, opaque, moist after rain, not viscid. Gills
distant, arcuate.
