Cette espèce se tient à la Nouvelle-Hollande,
sur les côtes de la mer, où elle est très-nombreuse.
Elle est très-babillarde , et si courageuse qu’elle
met en fuite des oiseaux beaucoup plus forts et
plus grands qu’elle. Elle se nourrit d’insectès,
mais elle préfère ceux qui sucent le miel de différentes
plantes, nommées B a n k s i a . Le nom de
