The above was for fome time alive in the pofieflion of Lady
Read: now in good prefervation in the Leverian Mufeum. Native

j f E N G T H nine inches. Bill and legs pale horn-colour; from
the bafe to the eye, and round the laft, bare, and o f the fame
colour: head and chin green: the whole neck pale rufous: upper
parts o f the body and wings green; under parts the fame, but
paler: the outer edge of the baftard wing, and quills, b lu e :
tail cuneiform, but Ihort, the colour a yellowilh green ; the four
middle feathers blue at the ends, where they are pointed in lhapej
the four outer ones on each fide tipped with brown.
Native place uncertain.
J E N G T H feven inches and a half; breadth twelve. Bill
yellowilh green : head, bread:, upper part o f the body, and
lefler wing coverts, dull green j greater coverts rich blue on the
exterior Tides j the interior dulky, marked with a white fp o t:
lower belly orange: tail green j ends of the four outmoft feathers
fine yellow : legs greenilh. '-*•
