The above is a copious synonymy of the Crocus lacteus,
which we so designated in the year 1810, having the year
before published it in the first Volume of the Horticultural
Society’s Transactions as variety ¡3, of Crocus lagenafiorus
of Salisbury, from having only seen two withering flowers of
