Stroma meist polsterförmig, kegelförmig, halbkuglig, unter
dem Periderm gebildet, aber heryorbrechend und mehr oder
weniger weit freistehend, ganz oder doch grösstentheils aus Pilz-
hyphen gehildet. Fruchtkörper in das Stroma eingesenkt. Sporen
ziemlich gross, ellipsoidisch oder spindelförmig, meist durch Querscheidewände
getheilt.
