Stroma ba ld mehr oder we n ig e r weit f lä c h e n h a f t
a u s g e b r e i t e t (diatrypeenartig), b a ld kre is fö rmig oder elliptisch
regelmässig (yalseenartig) in dem Substrat nistend. F r u c h t k
ö rp e r in das Stroma, bezugsweise das Substrat vollständig
e inge senkt, mit kurzer oder verlängerter Mündung vorragend.
Peridium häutig, lederartig, schwarz. Schläuche cylindr isch,
sp in d e l- oder keuienförmig, g ew ö h n l ic h am S c h e i te l
v e rd ic k t und von einem Porus durchsetzt. S p o re n e l l i p so
id is c h o d e r sp in d e l fö rm ig , mit e in e r Q u e r s c h e id e wand;
