O v a r y inferior, angled, inversely pyramidatë. Style linear,
attenuated at the base, blueish white, pubescent.
Stigmas three, eredt, at length patent,
obtuse:
Capsule inferior, drowned with the leaflets of the calyx,
oblong, angled, attenuated at the base, three-
celled, opening with three lateral apertures near
the extremity, the cells many-seed.ed.
Receptacle between spongy and carnosc, somewhat
two-lobed, longitudinally fixed to the internal angle
of each cell.
Seeds numerous, small, obovate, compressed, smooth,
brown.
