Radix perennis, oblonga, obliqua, crassa, præmorsa, tu-
berculata; fibras numerbsas, longas, teretes, sub-
simplices, fuscas emittens.
Folia omnia radicalia, obiongo-ovata, obtusa, venosa, ru-
gosa, pubescentia (quod præcipue subtus accidit),
margine undulata, inæquàliter crenata, infra medium
insigniter contracta, tunc decurrentia in pe-
tiolum plus minusve longutri, triangularem, sub-
pubescentem, albidum, basi canaliculatum, pur-
. purascentem.
Scapi e medio foliorum orti, tria ad sex, foliis longiores,
spithamei, erecti, obtuse triquetri, hirsuti, pallide
flavo-virescentes, basi purpurei.
Bracte/e minutæ, subulatæ.
Pedicelli numerosi, 1—2 unciam longi, teretes, pu-
bescentes.
Flores umbellati ; exteriores subnutantes, reliqui erecti.
