Specimens of this Fern were communicated by Dr. Kraus from Dominica. It has a near affinity,
certainly, with the Tr. sinuosum; but our plant is much smaller, more deeply pinnatifid, and with
more divided segments. The Tr. inciszim of Kaulfuss approaches it in size and general habit; but
that species seems to us scarcely distinct from the true Tr. sinuosum.
