The present is assuredly amongst th e m ost elegant o f this bca'utifnl Ikmily, and remarkable, as its
name Implies, for its elastic property. T he whole frond is o f a g lo ssy yellow-green colour, with the
midrib black, and clothed, as is the margin, with apprcssed branching hairs. W e have received
numerous specimens from our friends C. Tclfeir, Esq . and Professor Bojer, from the Mauritius.
