I am fa r from considering it as certain th a t th e above characters a re sufficient to distinguish
this p lant specifically from J . furcata ; since I can discover no difference b u t in th e hairs, which in
J . pubescens cover the whole p lan t, whilst in J . fu r c a ta they are e ithe r confined to th e ma rgin, or,
nt most, to tha t and the unde r side. Yet this difference^ appears to be very constant, and 1 have
followed Molir and Schrader in keeping the two separate.
