Solitary, subgregarioiis or cæspitose. Taste same as mushroom ; odour acid
Woods, chiefly fir, sometimes on logs ; frequent. Aug.-Dee. 34 X 3 X A in.
Not unhke 1299 in general appearance. A luxuriant formas Agaricus lobatiis Sowerby.

P. broadly umbilicate, sienna or buff. St. subhollow, pale
sienna. G. obconico-decurrent, crowded, whitish, becoming
yellow. Flesh white to brownish.

tinguishable ; the colouns r ary yellowish-brown to brick-red. Must not be
confounded with 159. Resembles 1278.

to white. G. arcuato-decurrent, colour as St. Flesh lighter
than P.
