P short, subacute, rugulose, red. Rcc. elongato-fusiform, cellular,
white or rosy. When the receptacle first emerges from the
volva it is covered with the white veil.
Woods, bushy places, rotten stumps, pine, ash, decayed leaves in woods and
hedges. June-Deo. Height 5® in.
