F e w weeds are more general, in all kinds of arable land,
than this Spurge, which is known from its companion the
E . beliofcopia, t. 883, by being generally rather more (lender
and delicate, but efpecialiy by its entire leaves, horned nectaries,
and three-cleft umbel. It flowers at the fame feafon,
and is equally efficacious in curing warts.
Root annual, tapering. Herb grafs-green, fmooth, occa-
fionally tinged with purple. Stem eredt, moftly branched at
the bafe, leafy. Leaves fcattered, flalked, obovate, entire.
Umbel of 3 branches, repeatedly forked, its leaves, or partial

p refled dots.
The fpecific name of this plant is much too near that of

derivation.
