valvis lamelliformibus coriaceis e sporangiis coadunatis quasi formatum, intus
plañís extus convexis, demum magis minusve patentibus, plurilocularibus ;
loculis transversis demum rima longitudinali intus dehiscentibus. Sporuloe minu-
tissimæ, copiosissimæ, subreniformes, granulosoe. Receptaculum lineare, fimbria-
timi.— Filices tropicæ, caudice erecto. Rhizoma crassum. Frondes decomposito-
pinnatoe, membranaceæ, serratæ. Venæ p in n a tæ , venulæ simplices v. furcatæ,
paralkloe.
