Sori ill venis ante apicem inserti, in lineam siibmarginantem confiuentes, nudi. Sporangia
obovata, exannulata, emarginata, subcoriacea, reticulata, duplici serie
disposita, primum connata, demum distincta, poro oblongo antice dehiscentia.
Sporula: globosoe, læves, obscure reticulatæ. Receptaculum lineare, depressum, fim-
briato-pilosum.— Filices Indice Orientalis, insularum adjaeentium, et ex insulis
Pacificis. Caudex perfectus m aximus, depressus, placentiformis, peripheria 3 ad 6-
pedalem (Wall. Mst.). Frondes stipitatæ, bipinnatæ. Pin næ elmgatæ, carnoso-
coriaceoe, serrata:, siccitate fr a g ile s ; costa utrinque prominula. Venæ pinnata,
simplices, vel furcatæ, parallela, in dentem marginis productæ, nunc linea gracilis
pellucida (proecipue in A. longifolia. Hook, et Grev.) cum iis alternans.
