Another form which may be considered a third, a snbgenus of Trichomanes, is the Feea
of Bory, Trichomanes spicatum, R. Hedw., of which a figure is given in Hooh. Ex. Flora,
T a b . 52. It is distinguished by having the fertile fronds dissimilar, and spiked ; hut the
indusia are free, nearly sessile on the rachis ; not united by a membrane.
