Mr Smith, foilowing up the idea—which is surely carried to a most undue and inconvenient
and unnatural length, that the slightest difference in venation is sufficient to constitute
generic distinctions—has formed of Anemia Phyllitidis and some allied species,
having the veins anastomosing, the genus Anemidictyon here represented.
