Sori globosi, dorsales, distinct!, venulis (ad apicem) insidentes. Capsula: p edicellatæ,
annulo a rticu la te cinctoe, receptáculo punctiformi insertæ. Involucrum sphæri-
cuni, hyalinum, capsulas includens, apice ore lacerato deliiscens.— Eilicula gla-
briuscula, 4-6 pollices alta, habitu Aspidii fragilis. Frons pimiatisecta, pinnis
oblongis pmnatijidis, lobis obtusiusculis oblongis subovatisve obtuse dentatis vel sub-
integerrimis ; stipite basi pakaceo. Sori nunc pauciores, minores, margini approxi-
mati ; nunc mayores, copiosi, conferti. Involucrum Cyatheæ ; receptaculum et
capsula Woodsioe.— In rupestribiis promontorii Caucasici -prope acidulara N a rt-
zana (alt. 500 hexap.), et in lapidosis ad torrentera T e re k prope Kobi (alt. 1000
