Perfect specimens of this Plant in Mr Cuming’s collection {nos. 33, 34, 107, 289,) haye
enabled me to correct a very important error into -vvliich both Presl and myself, as well as
Gaudichaud, have fallen, in representing the sori as destitute of an indusium, whereas it is
furnished with a reniform one. It will be seen hy our figures that the veins of the sterile
laclnise anastomose a good deal more than the fertile ones, owing to the greater development
of frond.
