Ophiogloffum Vulgatum grows in cold meadows and paftures, where
the ground is moift, in the neighbourhood of Halifax ; particularly m a
meadow adjoining to Mytham-Bridge, a mile from Halifax, m the way
to Wakefield.
The fecdfpikes are in perfeilion about the beginning of June.
