vaulted over the column; lateral sepals fi-ee, about twice as lojig as the dorsal, ovatelanceolate
from a broad base, sub-falcate, sub-acute, their upper margins incurved, cohering
only at the base, the apices divergent. Fetalu broadly elliptic, shortly apiculate,
shorter thau the dorsal sepal, spreading. Lip doflexed from the middle, oblong with a
very broad base, the apex minutely emarginate ; the under surface with a grooved keel.
Column stout, with broad rectangular wiugs, the apical teeth long, filiform, decurved; the
foot rather long, its apex uptmned. I'ollinia ellipsoid, attached to a ball of viscid

being almost cntii'ely pm-ple. What is probably this spccies has been recently collected
ill the Shan States in Bm-ma, but the specimens are not iu flower. This much resembles
C. maaulosum, Lindl., but has longer scapes and much longer columnaa- processes.
