I n externals this spocies resembles I t Prainii, nook. fiL. with wliich it was at first
c o n f u s e d . It is, however, perfectly di-^tinct. Tliis plant has the fac'ics of a Ilabenaria,
b u t the glands and the bases of the eaudicles of the polliuia rest in "twin pouches, after

T h i s species resembles 11. urceolata in having united stigmas and secund iuflorcscence,
