a n d without apparent nerves when fi-esh (striate when dry), lanceolate, acut^, with
s h e a t h i n g equitant bases; length 1 to 1-75 in., breadth from -25 to -5 in. Flowers
p r o d u c e d singly, -65 in. to "75 in. long, yel!owish-gi-een, axillai-y; floral Iract minute,
much shorter than the short pedicelled ovary. Sepah unequal, elliptic, the lateral
p a b larger than the dorsal, all obtuse. Petals much shorter than tlie sepals, broadly
e l h p t i c , blunt. Zy? cuneately oblong, concave, obscurcly S-lobed, the edges entire in
t h e lower part, crisped in the upper and especially at the broad 2-lobed apex; the
d i s c occupied by a shallow tliichened depression ending abruptly near the apex.
