T hi s Spider’s, back, belly, legs and feelers were o f a dusky brown
and very h a iry : Its feelers were {lender. This Spider was drawn
from one o f the defigns of Father George JoJeph Camel, a very curious
obferver of nature.

yellowifh brown, with marks o f a darker {hade of the feme colour $ its
fore legs were longer than any o f the others 5 its feelers were oddly

T h e back and belly o f this Spider were o f a curious mixture o f
filver, yellow and hair-colour, very agreeably mixed. Its legs were
long and bla ck; the feelers {lender. This Spider was brought front
the Philippian IJlands.

h 1 s odd {haped Spider was o f a fine green colour, intermixed
with go ld ; the bite o f which is fo venomous, i f not remedy’d pre-
fently by fire, or a decodtion o f dana, it kills both man and beaflr.
They delight in the Sambach Arahum or Syringa and dwell in their
twilled leaves; See Camel MSS. who calls it Araneus mortifenu Cma-
ragdino aureus Banayan.
