from an Ichneumon F ly, in Cain-Wood, in the beginning o f June.

T h i s Slider was o f a hair-colour; its back very dark} the belly light
in the middle and clouded on the fides with a dark colour • the whole
under fide o f the lame o f a dark colour 5 its legs blackilh 5 the feelers {lender.
It had eight eyes {landing in a femicircular form, as isexprefled
in the copper Plate. This is one o f the Spiders which catches his prey
by jumping on it. It was taken in Cain-Wood, in the beginning of

T h i s Spider is all black, excepting four white {pecks on the upper
fide o f the b e lly ; the feelers were o f a whiteifti, or very pale yellow; the
legs were o f a dark yellow. It had eight eyes {landing in a femicircular
form, as they are exprefled in the copper Plate. This is another o f the
jumping Spiders, and was taken at the lame time and place as m LXI.

T h e back o f this Spider is dark in the middle with a whiteifh line
round i t ; its back is much broader and bigger than its belly ; the upper
fide o f the belly is o f a light chefhut colour, with a darker colour round
i t ; the whole underfide is blackilh; its legs fpeckled; t he feelers {lender.
