T h e back o f this Spider was o f a dark redilh aftl colour, with
fmall lines o f Uack 5 the belly o f a dark redifh chefnut colour, , with
feveral clouds o f a darker colour, fet in a regular order, on the middle,
3 nrl fides, and between them feveral fpots o f light afti colour. It had
allô a row o f long and round fpots, white in the middle, reaching from
the back to the tail. Its legs were o f a hair-clour, fpotted and hairy 5
the feelers were long and hairy. It had eight eyes Handing as they
are placed in the copper Plate. It was taken in a Garden at Hoxton,
about the middle o f Augujl, and kept in a box, and fed with flyes till
the twenty feventh o f September, in which time it neither altered in
colour or bignefs.

T h e back o f this Spider is o f a lightilh lead colour, with marks
and fpots of„black ; its legs and feelers were o f a light hair-colour.
This is one o f the long legged kind, having no divifion o f back and
belly, as in other Spiders. The legs were fomething Ihorter, and the
body larger than is commonly feen in this fort o f Spiders. It was
taken under the coping o f a W all behind Shore-Ditch-Church, at the
end o f September.

T h e back o f this Spider was o f a dark hair-colour, the middle
fomething lighter ; the belly o f a yellowilh hair-colour, finely fpotted,
and marked with a dark colour ; the legs o f a dark colour ; as were alfo
the feelers; the body, legs, and feelers were all over befet with fine
hairs. It had eight eyes Handing as they are placed in the copper Plate.
