N \ LXXIV.
T h e back o f this Spider is o f a reddilh colour, the upper fide o f
its belly black, ftriped with white like a iprig o f y e w ; its tail forked ;
the legs o f a dark colour; as were alio the feelers, which were knobbed
and pointed at the ends : It had eight eyes Handing as they are exprefled
in the copper Plate. It was taken in a thick web about the middle

N°. LXX V.
T h e back and belly, o f this Spider both upper and under-fide, were
©f a Ihining black, as i f polifhed, or varnifhed ; and on the upper fide
o f its belly it had two rows o f dents, or hollow Ipecks let in a regular
order 5 the legs and feelers were o f a very dark red 5 the eyes could not
be feen by reafon o f its fhining-blacknefs ; the tail was forked. It
was taken about the middle o f June, creeping on the ground, near
Charlton in Kent..
N°. LXXYI.
T h i s Spider’s back and legs were o f a dark redifh hair-colour 5
the whole belly o f a dark lead colour, rough and hairy, the tail forked
and o f a flelh colour; its feelers flender. It had eight eyes placed as
they are exprefled in the Plate. It was taken near Woolwich in Kent,
about the middle o f June.

T h i s Spider was all over o f a hair-colour, finely marked and mottled
with black; its legs long and fmooth; its feelers long and flender. It
had eight eyes placed as they are exprefled, by the dots over the Spider,
