T h e back o f this Spider was very dark ; the upper fide o f the belly
was o f a dark ferruginous colour, fpotted with black with a large dark
lolloped mark, in which were twelve fmall white fpots. The legs were
o f the fame colour, and fpotted with black ; the feelers dark and flender.
Ic had fix eyes Handing as they are placed over the head o f the Spider
in the copper Plate.

T h e back and belly o f this Spider were o f a deep flefh colour •
the upper fide o f the belly was crofled with lèverai lines o f a dark colour
; the foremoft legs were the longefl ■> the two next pair fomethina
fhorter ; the third pair the fhortefl o f all. They were o f a dark colour,
and longer than is ufually found in Spiders o f this bignefs. The feelers
had globular pointed ends. It had eight eyes Handing in two Hreight
rows, as they are expreflèd in the copper Plate.

T H E .back o f this Spider was o f a very dark colour in the middle,
and â light afh colour on the fides; the' upper part o f the belly was
o f a fcarlet colour, with a broad border o f white on each fide; the under
fide dark afh fpecked with black ; the legs were o f a light afh colour,
with a very remarkable protuberance on the outermoH joint o f the
two foremoft : The feelers were llendér. It'had fix eyes Handing as
they are placed over the Spider indie copper Plate.
