out-house, in the beginning o f June.

T h e back, legs and feelers o f this Spider were o f a dark hair,
colour; the upper fide o f the belly o f a rofe colour with two large
marks o f black, in the uppermoH o f which were two fmall lines o f
white, and under them two hollow fpecks or dimples o f the lame colour,
in the lower black mark was a crofs o f white : Its feelers had
globular bunches at their ends. It had eight eyes Handing as thev
are placed in the copper Plate. It was taken by the fide o f a pond,,
in Sir Robert Abdey s Park, about the beginning o f June.

T hi s Spider was all over the back, belly, legs, and feelers, o f a
dark hair-colour; the upper fide o f the belly being marked with fpots
o f dusky y e llow ; its feelers were flender- It was found in a web,
which it had fpun in a furz-bulh. It had four eyes Handing as they
are placed in the copper Plate. It was found at the latter end o f
AuguJJ.

T h e back, belly, legs and feelers o f this long legged Spider were
o f a dark hair-colour; the upper half o f the body next the head yell-
owifh, with feveral dark fpots like eyes, but I could perceive but two.
On the lower part o f the body next the tail were four marks acrof^
on each fide ; its feelers were flender. It was found amongfi fome
old timber, which laid on the ground, about the middle o f September.
