T hi s Spider was o f a flender fhape and its legs long, confidering
its bigneli ; on the middle o f its back was a whiteilh line, on each fide
o f that black, and below that a light hair-colour; the upper part o f the
belly was o f a dark chefiiut colour; that part next the tail almoft black;
the other end, next the back, inclining to a dark red ; the fides o f a
whiteilh colour, and below that black; the legs were of a chefnut
colour. Its feelers were knobbed and pointed at the ends, and on the
inner fide o f thole knobs there was a large black Ihining foot looking
like pollilhed jett. It had eight eyes placed as in the Plate, and was,
taken in Cain-Wood, in the beginning o f June.

his Spider was o f an orange colour; it had on its back a-ftreak
o f light, and next to that on each fide it had a dark Ihadow, and on
the outfide o f that Ihadow was a light line o f the lame colour o f the
firft; the upper fide o f the belly had on each fide a line or ftreak o f
dark colour ending in a point at the ta il; the feelers were flender : It
had eight eyes placed as they are exprelfed in the Plate. It was taken in
Cain-Wood, in the beignning o f June.

T h i s Spider was o f a molt beautiful green colour, all over its body,
legs and feelers, which laft were flender: It had eight eyes, placed as
is exprelfed in the copper Plate. It was taken running on the ground
in Cain-Wood, at the beginning o f J u n e ; it was very nimble and
quick-lighted.
