T h i s Spider was o f a dark colour, having a pretty broad ftreak o f
light hair-colour in the middle; and in the middle o f that ftreak a fmall
black line, the reft o f the back being black ; the upper part o f the belly
had a fmall hair-colour’d line, in fhape o f a longilh fquare. It had fix
eyes Handing as they are exprefled in the Plate. Its feelers were long
and flender : it was taken in Cain-fVood about the middle o f A p r il, in
the dead leaves. One o f thefe Spiders Was taken at the beginning o f
June with its egg-bag undet its belly, which was round and white.

T hi s finall long legged Spider was lo finely marked that it was im-
poflible to defcribe it, either in words or colours 5 there being fb fine a
mixture o f green, red, and black interchangeably put together in pretty
fhapes % the. legs were alio finely marked in the fame manner 5 the eyes
were fb fmall as not to be difcerned. It was taken on the body o f a:
tree in Cain-Wood, about the middle o f A p ril. '

T h e back o f this Spider is o f a chefnut colour, and fmall, the belly
large, the upper part o f which is o f a yellow, white, and orange colour,
very agreeably mixed in pretty fhapes, the legs orange colour with dark
fpots. The feelers were flender; it had fix eyes Handing as exprefled.
in the Plate. It was taken on a tree in Cain-Wood, about the middle
o f A pril.

T hi s fmall Spider was o f a copper colour, the belly pretty large for
the bignefs of the Spider. It was found in the middle o f a web, in.
Cain-Wood, about the fixteenth of A p ril. The eyes were fo finall as
their number could not be perceived.
