T hi s fmall Spider was all over black, the feelers were knobbed
at the ends. It had fix eyes, Handing as they are expreffed in the
Plate. They are found running about in great plenty, in the low wet
grounds, about the middle o f A p r il.

T h i s Spider, is almoft white on the top o f the b a ck : the- fides o f
the back were black, it had a light mark all along the upper part o f the
belly even with that on the back, the legs and fides o f the belly o f a
dark colour; its feelers were pretty thick : it had fix eyes placed as they
are expreffed in the Plate. Viewing the upper part o f the belly of this
Spider with a magnifying glafs, it was hairy and finely fpotted : It was
found in Cain-Wood, running on the ground about the middle o f A p r il.
N V XXI.
T his Spider had a light mark along the top o f the back, the fides
©f the back black, going off into a faint fhade o f white, the tail was
o f a dark colour. Its feleers were flender, the legs finely marked,
partly black and partly o f fad. colour : it had fix eyes Handing as is expelled
in the Plate. The belly o f this Spider was fhorter than is
ufually found in Spiders o f this bignefs. It was taken in Cain-Wood,
about the middle o f A p ril.

black 5 its belly rifes pretty high on the upper fide ; its feelers were
Tender : it had fix eyes Handing as they are expreffed in the Plate. It
was taken in Cain-Wood, near Hampftead-Heath, about, the middle
o f A p ril.
