T h e back o f this Spider was o f a hair-Colour, marked with a fpot
and broad line o f yellow; the upper fide o f the belly had a mark in
the fhape o f a crofs o f yellow colour, with a (mail line o f dark red in
the upper part; on the outfide o f the crofs it was black with a broad
circle o f yellow round it fpotted with red; on the out fide the circle
it was o f a hair-colour; the legs were o f a light hair-colour ipotted
with black, having briftles o f the fame colour on the joints; the feelers
were flender. It had fix eyes Handing as they are placed in the copper
Plate. It was taken in a web, in BiJhops-JVood, at the beginning o f
September.

yellowifh hair-colour 5 on the back was a large dark mark j the upper
fide o f the belly had eight black fpots on it, and two black tips at the
end o f the tail 5 the firfi joints next the body were hairy and befet
with black brifiles; as were alfo the feelers § the next joints fhort and
roundifh, and joined at each end by two Hrong black nerves; the two
next joints were joined by a fingle nerve each. It had eight eyes
